I went to Grill 23 today with my roommate's family and had a pretty great dining experience. I ordered the dry aged ribeye (medium rare). The cut was a little bit on the thin side, I usually like my steaks a little thicker, but the flavor was excellent.
For side dishes we had the sauteed spinach, the sauteed mushrooms, and the truffled tator tots. There's something about truffles that make everything taste better.
I let the sommelier talk me out of ordering a Châteauneuf-du-Pape and instead got a bottle of the 2004 Montirius Vacqueyras. I think it was a good pic. It was a much more full bodied wine and it accompanied the steaks nicely.
Overall, I thought the meal was excellend and would definitely go back. The restaurant atmosphere is a little bit more old school and "stuffy" than a modern steakhouse like KO Prime. But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
PS. To the review on yelp that said they should rename the place from Grill 23 to Fort Awesome - I totally agree.
